Laser Hair Removal/Reduction

The technologies of choice in our spa are the Gentle Yag Laser and the LightSheer DUET Laser. Considered the gold standards in laser hair removal and reduction, these are the fastest, most efficient machines on the market today, and provide a virtually painless experience in a fraction of the time of regular laser hair removal treatments. Most clients require between four to eight very brief sessions (spaced 4-6 weeks apart) to eliminate or dramatically reduce unwanted hair from legs, bikini area, underarms, back, neck, beard area and more. 

Most clients require four to eight treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. On average, 80 to 90% of the hair is permanently gone upon completion of laser hair removal treatments, and in many cases it can be 100% eliminated. We advise our clients to recognize that a small amount of hair may slowly return, but the hair will be much finer and thinner.​ Touch-up treatments may be needed in the future.  Everyone’s hair is different, so some people have a touch-up once a year, while others might not need a touch-up for five years.

NOTE: ​Please shave treatment area(s) prior to your laser hair removal appointment. If you do not shave, there is a $15 shaving fee to have this taken care of prior to your treatment.

PAIN RELIEF OPTIONS

Numbing Cream: We are happy to provide you with a prescription for topical numbing cream, which is custom blended by a compounding pharmacy. There is a nominal fee for this, paid by you to the pharmacy. We recommend using the pharmacy's complimentary delivery service to have your prescription delivered to us prior to your treatment, or you may pick it up from the pharmacy.

Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide Delivery System: you are empowered to safely control your pain relief during certain in-office aesthetic treatments and procedures, such as Morpheus8, IPL and other laser treatments, BodyTite, liposuction and more. The fixed mixture of 50% nitrous oxide and oxygen uses a specially designed, on-demand valve that delivers these medical gases only when you choose to inhale it through a handheld mouthpiece. There is no loss of consciousness, you manage when to use Pro-Nox and for how long, while still being clear-headed and able to respond on your own terms. This pain management alternative, known as analgesia, is non-addictive and can even decrease the need for other pain medications, such as pills.

PRICING: $50 for initial consultation with Dr. Asfa to ensure you are a candidate for laser hair removal. Treatments will be performed by an aesthetician, and you may schedule to occur immediately following your initial consultation. $75/15 Minutes of Treatment Time.

NuFree Waxing Hair Removal – $27 for Brows; all other pricing depending on size of treatment area

NuFree is a 100% botanical soy-based wax-like product that was clinically developed for those with sensitive skin.  Effective, gentle and safe for any area of the body, there are no added chemicals, sugar or actual wax in NuFree.  Because Nufree is not an actual wax, it never sticks to the skin, so clients do not experience the pain, redness or swelling that some people experience after traditional waxing treatments. Following NuFree hair removal treatments, clients typically experience silky-smooth skin on the treated areas.



NuFree “waxing” uproots the entire hair bulb and shaft vs. breaking the hair off during a regular waxing treatment. Nufree is the only anti-microbial, non-wax hair removal system in the world. Patented anti-microbial and anti-bacterial Finipil is applied after the hair is removed with NuFree, to ensure protection against ingrown hairs and bacteria. When combined with NuFree it can stunt hair regrowth and therefore lengthen the period between hair removal treatments.

Any and all of the parts of the body can be treated with NuFree, including eyebrows, face, bikini area, arms, armpits, legs, back, abdomen, chest and tops of hands and feet.
