LASER TREATMENTS

The Lumenis Stellar M22 is a unique, multi-application laser platform for the treatment of over 30 skin conditions and multiple skin rejuvenation solutions. One of the most advanced laser devices on the market, the Stellar M22 provides remarkable results on a range of skin concerns such as: aging and sunspots, spider veins and pigmented lesions, uneven texture, skin tone and pigmentation problems, acne, scarring, stretch marks, tattoo removal (dark ink only), rosacea and many other skin issues. 

Are Laser Treatments Right for Me?

An initial consultation with Dr. Asfa is required prior to any laser treatments, so he can determine the best options for you based on your skin type and condition. Laser treatments are not suitable for everyone and may carry some risks. IPL/Laser treatments are not suitable when you have active infections, viral, fungal or bacterial diseases, inflammatory skin conditions, an active tan or skin cancer. Use of retinoids and/or AHA/BHA’s should be discontinued three days before treatment. The full list of risks and side effects will be thoroughly reviewed with you prior to treatment.

Are Laser Treatments Painful?

During laser treatments, some people feel a pinching sensation or a feeling similar to a rubber band being snapped on the skin. Some individuals have described this as being similar to an elastic band being “snapped” on the skin. Others notice a tingling or burning sensation. To prevent these feelings of discomfort, we highly recommend the use of a topical numbing cream, which your aesthetician will apply to the area(s) to be treated. We work with a local compounding pharmacy that custom blends the numbing cream to Dr. Asfa's specifications. Per state regulations, we are no longer able to stock this medication on site, but we are able to submit the prescription for you. It is your responsibility to call the pharmacy and pay for the medication in advance of your treatment appointment. For your convenience, the pharmacy can arrange to deliver your prescription to us prior to your scheduled treatment. We also offer the Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide Delivery System to minimize pain and anxiety, described below.

PAIN RELIEF OPTIONS

Numbing Cream: We are happy to provide you with a prescription for topical numbing cream, which is custom blended by a compounding pharmacy. There is a nominal fee for this, paid by you to the pharmacy. We recommend using the pharmacy's complimentary delivery service to have your prescription delivered to us prior to your treatment, or you may pick it up from the pharmacy.

Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide Delivery System: you are empowered to safely control your pain relief during certain in-office aesthetic treatments and procedures, such as Morpheus8, IPL and other laser treatments, BodyTite, liposuction and more. The fixed mixture of 50% nitrous oxide and oxygen uses a specially designed, on-demand valve that delivers these medical gases only when you choose to inhale it through a handheld mouthpiece. There is no loss of consciousness, you manage when to use Pro-Nox and for how long, while still being clear-headed and able to respond on your own terms. This pain management alternative, known as analgesia, is non-addictive and can even decrease the need for other pain medications, such as pills.

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Photorejuvenation

IPL is a relatively quick treatment that visibly improves skin imperfections such as: pigmentation (such as age/sunspots, freckles and birthmarks), texture, and vascular imperfections. Overall skin appearance is also improved by stimulating collagen and elastic fiber production over a series of treatments. The Stellar M22 IPL with Optimal Pulse Technology enables our aestheticians to customize your treatment according to your skin type and desired results, with maximum safety. Certain skin concerns such as shallow pigmentation and age/sunspots can be cleared in as few as one to two treatments, but typically, two to six sessions (with 2-4 weeks in between each) are needed to achieve optimal results for most skin concerns.

IPL Acne Treatment

30-45 Minutes; includes cleansing and toning of treatment area(s)

This IPL treatment greatly improves skin appearance by reducing acne while simultaneously treating redness and pigmentation. The unique Stellar M22 IPL technology utilizes light flashes over the treated areas, triggering a biochemical response to eliminate bacteria within the pores. IPL is a non-invasive solution on inflammatory acne with less collateral effects than oral medication.

ResurFX

This is a non-ablative fractional skin rejuvenation/resurfacing treatment with remarkable results for younger, healthier, glowing skin. ResurFX stimulates deep collagen regeneration over a sequence of treatments and can also reduce/improve enlarged pores, scarring and stretch marks. Typically, about three sessions are needed to have visible improvement in skin texture and fine lines. Usually after just one treatment, there are noticeable changes in pore dimensions.

Photofractional

During this treatment, both IPL and ResurFX technologies are used to simultaneously address problems with skin pigmentation and texture. The IPL technology removes both unwanted pigmentation and blood vessels from the skin, while the ResurFX fractional laser stimulates the production of new collagen and elastic fibers within the deeper layers of the skin. Stimulating new collagen production is the key to a more radiant, youthful looking skin.

CO2 Lift Pro Treatment

$100 as an add on to any spa service $150+, including chemical peels, specialty facials, Morpheus8, microneedling or full facial laser treatments. Treatment time varies. Also available for purchase as a take home treatment (package of three) for $275.

Experience the power of Carboxytherapy! CO2 Lift Pro Carboxy Gel is a calming and hydrating treatment that delivers maximum hydration through carbon dioxide. By infusing CO2 into the skin, the body will respond by rushing oxygen rich blood to the tissue. The gel transforms into a cooling mask and is kept on the skin for 35 minutes to 1 hour and is a great option for post procedure or inflamed skin. Instantly cools and combats redness and irritation from invasive procedures upon application. Recommended in a series of three, performed every 5-7 days. Take home a package of three treatments for $275.

Nd YAG Treatments

Nd YAG treatments non-invasively address a number of conditions by optimally tailoring the light source and energy to effectively target the problem areas.

Vein & Vascular Treatments

15-30 Minutes

Effectively softens, reduces, and sometimes completely eliminates spider veins, reticular veins (blue veins), broken capillaries and rosacea. This unique technology enables optimal tailoring of the light source and energy to effectively target the vascular condition which causes it to fade away.

FACE Pricing: $200 base price per session; if session lasts 30+ minutes, additional $125 for each additional 15 minutes. $680 for a package of 4 sessions.

LEG Pricing: $250 base price per session; if session lasts 30+ minutes, additional $125 for each additional 15 minutes. $800 for a package of 4 sessions.

Pigmented Lesions & Skin Toning

The Stellar M22 Q-Switched Nd YAG is used for the reduction/removal of age spots, freckles, Mongolian spots (pigmented birthmarks), café-au-lait macules (brown patches on the skin) and other pigmentation problems.

Ziba Pigmentation Package - 90 minutes

Includes a cleansing/toning and dermaplaning of the face, an Obagi Blue Peel Radiance, followed by the Q-Switch Nd YAG pigmentation treatment.

Tattoo Removal

This Stellar M22 YAG laser on the 1064-nm wavelength is effective for the removal of black or dark ink tattoos. Please Note: 1064-nm wavelength will NOT remove colored inks.

ZibaGlo includes a Stellar M22 IPL treatment followed by a Morpheus8 (deep, fractional radiofrequency) treatment to target the three biggest signs of aging skin – tone, texture, and volume – all during one session. The ZibaGlo treatment visibly improves uneven skin tone and pigmentation problems as well as the accumulated wrinkles and fine lines that appear with age. By having all of these concerns addressed at once, ZibaGlo patients see dramatically reversed signs of aging, and a brighter, more youthful glow to their skin.

For many of us, hair removal is part of everyday life. Whether you choose shaving or waxing, electrolysis or hair removal cream, the options can be painful, messy and ineffective, as well as time consuming. At Ziba Medical & Day Spa, our laser hair removal technology of choice is the LightSheer Quattro, by Lumenis. Lumenis has been pioneering hair removal for more than 50 years, and you will be receiving the most advanced hair removal treatment available, by our highly trained aesthetics team. Safety is of utmost importance to us, and your treatment will be personally approved by our Board Certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Saied Asfa. The LightSheer Quattro will give you long-lasting results, more comfortable treatments than other lasers, and very quick treatment times.

LightSheer Quattro Laser Hair Reduction

LightSheer Quattro Laser Hair Reduction

Lumenis LightSheer Quattro uses a clinically-proven diode laser to penetrate the skin to effectively reduce or completely eliminate unwanted hair, quickly and comfortably. The LightSheer Quattro features two unique technologies: high speed vacuum assisted technology for large treatment areas; and ChillTip technology, which is a cooled sapphire tip used on smaller, more delicate areas. The LightSheer Quattro is generally suited to safely treat all skin types and tones, as well as all types of hair. Laser hair removal is most effective when hair is at an early growth stage. Because not all hairs will be at the same stage of growth at the same time, multiple sessions will be needed for the most optimal results. Most people require four to six treatments, 4-6 weeks apart. Some people may require additional treatments depending on skin type and hair color.
