Microneedling For Body

Microneedling For Body

Microneedling is a medical grade procedure used to treat a variety of skin conditions on the face and body. The technique involves using multiple tiny, sterile needles to puncture the skin and cause physical trauma which prompts the derma –a deeper layer of skin – to rebuild, boost collagen production and completely rejuvenate your skin. Microneedling can help address wrinkles, scarring, acne scars, alopecia, skin pigmentation, stretch marks, roscea, and mild loose or sagging skin.

Because microneedling penetrates the skin, your initial consultation will be with Dr. Asfa so he can determine if you are a candidate for this procedure. Once you have been approved, your aesthetician will perform the treatments (a series of three treatments is recommended for optimal results). Medical grade products may be used in combination with the microneedling to address certain skin conditions.

Microneedling - $50 initial consultation with Dr. Asfa. Procedure pricing based on treatment area; package pricing available.

Our aestheticians use an automated microneedling device with a disposable tip cartridge that is made up of 12 microneedles, which uses proprietary technology to penetrate vertically into the skin. The stamping action of the vertical tip creates invisible micro-injuries to the skin, while stimulating the skin’s natural ability to heal itself which increases the production of new collagen. In doing so, these micro-injuries encourage and harness the body’s innate ability to regrow and repair the skin through normal physiological processes and the skin becomes rejuvenated and refreshed. Addresses dark spots, surface scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, crow’s feet, and acne scars. To ensure optimal comfort, you have the option to add a prescription for numbing cream, which will be applied by your aesthetician prior to treatment. We also offer the Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide Delivery System, described below.

Morpheus8 - $50 initial consultation with Dr. Asfa. Procedure pricing based on treatment area; package pricing available.

Morpheus8 is a fractional skin treatment that can be used on all skin tones. The procedure combines microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) energy - two scientifically proven skin rejuvenation methods, delivered simultaneously to stimulate the production of collagen and resurface the skin. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodeled to reveal a more radiant, youthful appearance. The results include an overall improvement to skin tone, smoothness, brightness, and tightness with minimal downtime. Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from resurfacing and subdermal renewal; the most commonly treated areas include the face, periorbital area, abdomen, thighs and buttocks. Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically the most noticeable results appear within three weeks. To ensure optimal comfort, you have the option to add a prescription for numbing cream, which will be applied by your aesthetician prior to treatment. We also offer the Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide Delivery System, described below.

PAIN RELIEF OPTIONS

Numbing Cream: We are happy to provide you with a prescription for topical numbing cream, which is custom blended by a compounding pharmacy. There is a nominal fee for this, paid by you to the pharmacy. We recommend using the pharmacy's complimentary delivery service to have your prescription delivered to us prior to your treatment, or you may pick it up from the pharmacy.

Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide Delivery System: you are empowered to safely control your pain relief during certain in-office aesthetic treatments and procedures, such as Morpheus8, IPL and other laser treatments, BodyTite, liposuction and more. The fixed mixture of 50% nitrous oxide and oxygen uses a specially designed, on-demand valve that delivers these medical gases only when you choose to inhale it through a handheld mouthpiece. There is no loss of consciousness, you manage when to use Pro-Nox and for how long, while still being clear-headed and able to respond on your own terms. This pain management alternative, known as analgesia, is non-addictive and can even decrease the need for other pain medications, such as pills.
